Geoff Eales has had a long and varied career, including a long stint with the BBC Big Band and working as a top studio musician for over 15 years alongside a host of musical luminaries such as Leonard Bernstein, Henry Mancini, Jerry Goldsmith and Lalo Schifrin. His Jazz work includes solo, trio and quartet projects, but for his first visit to the Bonington he brings his fusion quintet Isorhythm, featuring guitarist Carl Orr (Billy Cobham, George Duke, Gary Husband, Bennie Maupin), saxophonist Ben Waghorn (Dave Stapleton, Slowly Rolling Camera) and Chesterfield-based bass maestro Fred T. Baker (Harry Beckett, Phil Miller).
